This month usually starts off pretty cool: summer vacations, awesome weather, my birthday, etc. Then the end of the month gets you exited because summer is in full swing and actually have time to celebrate holidays. This year, summer decided to take a dive for the worst... As almost the world knows by now, Michael Jackson and Farrah Faucet have died, but yesterday another was added to the list. I'm talking about one of our most iconic infomercial pitchmen, Billy Mays.
The booming voice and louder congenial personality were something the whole TV world watched, not because we immediately thought that we actually neededeverything he was selling, but more because of that trusting cheesy smile and thumbs up he always gave us. On top of his on-screen poise, the way he demonstrated his products was something almost magical, and it's hard to do magic when there are no camera tricks or decieving involved.
It's hard to let go of someone you've let in your house for years. Even when it was mostly at 3 o'clock in the morning when you could get to sleep.
Even though you are silenced, your loud voice will still be heard...
